Mandate
Collectivus Theatre strives to create relevant and impactful works for audiences, particularly young adults. It is our company’s goal to tell stories that give voice to the authentic identities and experiences of people that often aren't seen on stage.
Collectivus Theatre’s work often focuses on stories about coming of age, mental health
and the queer experience.
The Team
Our team is comprised of Ellery Lamm and Anna Marie Anderson. Together they have created and produced contemporary theatre with a focus on a creative collaboration and fostering a space of inclusivity. Through the development of their partnership they strive to develop relevant and contemporary works for the stage.

A “brilliantly executed” play about a grief-stricken small town and five people whose lives collide in one department store fitting room (Showbill Canada). After winning “Overall Favourite Show” in the Victoria 2018 Festival, The Fitting Room is having another premier in Vancouver B.C. in 2019. These performances will run from May 14-18th at the Havana Theatre on Commercial Drive. Click the link below for ticket information.
History of The Fitting Room
The Fitting Room has been produced twice. The First time being in Vino Buono's first season in Victoria in 2017.
It recently had a highly successful run in the 2018 Victoria Fringe Festival. The production tied for "Bravest Show" and won "Overall Favourite Show"
Collectivus Theatre is excited to share this piece in Vancouver B.C. in 2019 at the Havana Theatre.

Summer Bucket List

Collectivus Theatre will be featuring again in the YYJ 2019 Fringe Festival and be presenting a new work called Summer Bucket List.
During the first two weeks of summer, 15 year olds Zoey and Grace are tasked with summer detention. Cleaning out the lockers they find a discarded summer bucket list: “give 2 blow jobs” “have a lemonade stand.” They decide to complete the list for the girl who left it behind, a girl who's identity we discover throughout the course of the play. A play about the complexities of growing up a girl.
